best picture of my life

I came across this gem as I was sorting through our wedding photos.

I just might blow it up

Rainy days

 We love our sunday walks.
Especially when they look like this.

It's a good thing they won, because sitting in the rain for three hours is not the most fun thing.
We were in our poncho's not making any sudden movements just in case of water seeping through.
While this lady in the black was up on her feet dancing and cheering the whole time.

I missed sitting with  Lori and Pat during the game.
They had some plane trouble and couldn't make it out this week.
So I sat with my cute friend Whitney
Her husband is a receiver on the team as well, so we spend a lot of time together!

I love making videos of my little sister.
Something always seems to be going on with her.
I couldn't get the video to go straight.. sorry

The end is the best! ha

thursday nights

Somebody loves his new bowling class.
Of course I took on the challenge of playing him and to top it off, we bet on it.
Why do I do this to myself?
I haven't bowled for maybe a year.
Sean bowled every week for the past month in a half.
Yes, I lost.
143-93

But I think this whole bowling thing has gotten out of hand.
Rolling a watermelon down the isle at Costco ?
Okay he wasn't bowling, just making reference to a Seinfeld episode to see if the fruit was good.
We got a few strange looks.

Welp, Sean is in Iowa with the team and I'm off to the movies with Peter and Abby. See ya!

Labor Day

Its that time of year... football season.
The first game of the season was against Pittsburgh. We were on the edge of our seats most of the game..  they got the W so it was a happy day!

Patrick and Lori came up for the game too!

Two days later, my friend Whitney and I ran our first official half marathon.

It was oh so tiring but we had a blast training together and finally running it.

This sweet peach was there to cheer me on at the start and at the end.

Then we headed down to Provo to be with these peeps.

Thanks to Mike and Jake, a pinecone war was started.

Ambush on Mike D.

Ambush on my Pops

All the while, baby Max was feeling a little under the weather. Poor thing.

We celebrated my beautiful mother's b-day too. I didn't have my camera handy for the moment, but she turned 30 as she does every year :) Love you mom!

Then it was time for goodbye. Please excuse the picture. We sister's tend to get emotional whenever we leave each other (hence the black and white edit). Brooke is off to BYU-Idaho for her first year of college. I love it because she is now only 3 hours away from me instead of 10. Angie headed back down to Las Vegas, Brittany and Shannon headed back to California, and Abby and I stayed here in good old Utah.

Until next time...

So long Summer

Summer '10 was our first 3 months of newly wed delight.
Full of movies and cafe rio... it's all anyone really needs.
We have had a blast being with each other everyday and learning the marriage groove.

I have learned a few things about my sweet dear face:
- No matter where I hide, he never gets scared or even flinches when I pop out at him. Dark closet, behind a door, under the bead... doesn't matter.
- He is a very good cleaner. Best dishwashing skills I have ever seen.
- He secretly kinda just maybe likes the bachelor... just maybe.

Although the beginning of fall means that winter is just around the corner, I can't help but love the excitement of what lies ahead for us.
Goodbye Summer.
 Hello Fall!

Too tired to EAT??

I was so confused when the hungry man came home with an untouched turkey sandwich in hand.
All he said was, "I'm too tired to eat."
I guess sprinting all day will do that.
A little rest and food, and he is right back at it for round two.
He never ceases to amaze me.

Sprinting used to be easy for me.. when I was 13.
Near the end of my morning run today, the world cup theme song came on my i-pod.
As I listened, I felt like I really was in the World Cup and of course started to sprint.
If someone were watching, it probably looked like I was running 10 mph but honestly I had to have been running at least 50 mph. ha! okay probably not, but it felt like it.
I tried it one more time after and quickly realized maybe I should just stick with slow and steady.
very "slooowww and steeaaadddy"

Randomness

Here are the goings on...

Sean finished summer semester with dos A's. He is a smarty
I finish summer semester on wednesday. I won't be getting dos A's. More like dos B's.
I love to sporadically use my limited spanish vocabulary.
I for sure got it from my father. I like to think I am bilingual.
Sean has yet to agree.

People at work refer to me as the football widow. I guess you could say that. I am alone a lot now that Sean has started fall camp. I don't like to tell people that though, because i am paranoid that someone is gonna come and take me when he isn't here. Yes i am crazy but that really has become my fear these days. Football camp has become his life and will be his life for the next two weeks and then it slows down to once a day instead of all day. I don't know how he does it, but he does and does it hard. There are some perks to it all, i mean when is a chipotle burrito considered a snack?

Lets talk about it: averaged to be around 1,000 calories for one of these babies, or fetus as Sean calls it.

The newest addition to the Fitzgerald clan is this little man. He really is a little man to me. Such defined features at one day old. Can't wait to see him in person. Congrats Jeff and Ashley!

I love nieces and nephews and can't wait for the next one to come.
Britt (the eldest sis) is expecting a baby girl!
I love that Jake and Max are gonna have a little sis to protect and love.

Speaking of being an auntie. I will never get sick of this picture of Jake and Haley. Crazy kids.

We got our wedding pictures back and there are so many to choose from!
I love this one.
What a great group of people.
Better yet, what a great family we have.

Fitzgerald Family Reunion

The starter of it all.

I am a Fitzgerald now... I needed a picture too.

                                                                  Sean and Grandpa Fitzgerald

                                                                              Some of the family

The outhouse with two seats. Excuse our strained faces.

new favorite

This show just started last night and I love it. It might not be for everyone.. Sean didn't watch pretty much any of it, he's not really into blood or pretty much anything that goes on in a hospital. But Shannon, you will love it.

Oh ya, we want to go on this show. We would definitely dominate.

little b

I can't sleep, so I am on the couch doing nothing at 1:00 in the morning. The trash reeks and i keep getting massive whiffs of it but am too lazy to get up and take it out. Such is life. Tonight was a great night. Tonight we went to dinner with Sean's Uncle, we made chocolate chip cookies, and watched some Modern Family. But the best of all, tonight my lil' sis graduated from high school. I can't believe it. She is growing up on me. I wish I could have been there to yell and cheer when they announced her name with the rest of my family but due to the 10 hour distance between us, I thought pictures of the day would suffice. I loved graduation simply because I was getting out of blasted high school. Brooke, on the other hand, loves high school, has a gazillion friends and probably isn't looking forward to graduating as much as I was. Hey, I went to grad night, I participated (podge knows what I'm sayin). I am rambling. Point is, I am so proud of my little b and am so excited for her to experience college in a few months. Congratulations! We love you!

More like PAC 12

Starting in the 2011 season, the Utah Utes will be a part of the Pac 10 conference. Hollllaaa!!

oh so good

Even though we would both rather be in California for the summer, SLC hasn't been to shabby.

The weather has been beautiful, with the exception of a few thunder storms. But who doesn't appreciate an occasional summer storm? Our ward is small but we like it. There seem to be either older people who have been in the ward for years or new younger peeps.

Sean has been busy with football, work and school and is either hungry or tired.
I have been setting up our little abode while searching for a job.

Last week we made the long trip down to Provo just to see Tom play, and let me tell you, it was worth it. Tom definitely owned the stage.

Here are a few shots:

Point is, life is oh so good.

Summer Nights

Nothing better than a Bee's baseball game on a monday night.
Neither of us are very big baseball fans nor do we really keep up with the Bee's or any team for that matter, but you can't beat the atmosphere.
There's something about a hot dog, obnoxious fans, and some fireworks that just lure us right in.

Seinfeld

My little boo face had a birthday not to long ago.
To celebrate, we stopped in vegas and saw Jerry on our way to CA.
Jerry ran out on stage and Sean whispered in my ear, "I just got chills"
Needless to say we are Seinfeld fans.

We went to dinner at Planet Hollywood and Sean ordered this beast of burrito.
I think he just about finished it too.
Amazing/Sick.

Peace and love

Happy Birthday

To my beautiful sister Brittany. I love this pic because we tried so many times to get Jake to look at the blasted camera ha!  Britt is soaking up the good life in NY right now and probably loving life. She is the greatest sister, friend, and not to mention therapist. I say therapist because I would always call her for her advise on pretty much anything.  She is so fun, kind, easy to talk to, and such a wonderful mother to her two little boys. I love you Brittany and Happy Birthday!!!!

To Chelly, the greatest college roommate. I lived with her for 3 years, and could not have asked for a better roommate and friend. She is so dang funny, smart, creative, giving, and can read my mind with just a look... seriously. its amazing. I love you Dezz and can't wait to see you tonight. Happy Birthday!!!!

A Special Thank You

To my SISTERS who put on such a cute bridal shower. All the decorations and desserts were so darling.

They also threw a fun and embarrassing bachelorette party two days before the wedding. I mean look at the hat.. Shannon made sure it was on at all times.

To my BEST FRIENDS, Chelsea and Marissa, who threw me a bridal shower up in Utah. I don't have any pictures of it, but i wish i could show how cute everything was and the spread of food they made. We really new how to eat at Blastoff.

To MIKE, my brother-in-law, who designed and made our invitations that we LOVED. He really is so talented and new exactly how to put the feel of our wedding into an invitation. He also made an awesome slideshow that was shown at the reception. It will be such a treat to be able to watch it in the years to come.

To KANDYCE, who made all of the decorations and did all of the flowers for the reception. Everything turned out so much better than I could have imagined! She has such a creative eye and skill for pretty much everything. These are just a few of the things she did..

To PATRICK & LORI, who threw such a great wedding dinner. The food was delicious and the games were hilarious.

They also sent us on a honeymoon to the beautiful island of Maui. We got some nice sun and ate a lot of good food. Everything was wonderful! Thank you!

To my PARENTS, who put on our special day. The reception was so much fun and put together so well. We can't thank you enough!

My MOTHER is a wonder woman. While i was going to school in Utah she was busy planning the big day. With a lot of family staying at the house during the wedding, she still kept her cool and made sure everything came together. Thank you mom, your amazing.

Thank you to all who helped and to all who came!
