Fun in the Utah

We and a few friends thought it would be great if we went up to the snowy mountains to go sledding.
Sadly, it was probably 12 degrees out and our sleds turned out to be container lids.
The lids didn't glide as well as we had hoped.. oopsy daisy.
I guess when your 10 yrs old and 60 lbs you just skim across the snow.
Not anymore folks. Not anymore.

We went to Denny's after (naturally) where the boys talked about all of the priceless
memories they have made at Denny's.
They have the exact conversation every time actually.
Including this topic-
which is better:
 1. dipping french toast into syrup or
2. poring syrup onto the french toast
You would be surprised at how passionately some people feel about their methods of eating french toast
As for me, I prefer the dip

second cousin once removed..

We get the privilege to watch my cousin's daughter every now and then.  Im not really sure what the correct term is, so I just think of myself as an auntie to cute little addy. It's so nice to have family so close!

This particular night we were watching Aladdin for the 4th time, or was it the incredibles? One of those. Every time we watch a movie Addy finds a spot next to Sean as she says, "my sean."
I had to snap a picture of these two so focused on their movie.

Kisses

Today February 12th, is the anniversary of our first kiss.
Now I wouldn't normally remember this kind of fun fact but it happened to fall on a good friends birthday. So sentimental I know :)

Sean went through a bandanna phase in high school if you can't tell.
In fact, he is wearing a bandanna tonight in celebration.... ha i wish.

Birds, birds, and more birds

We looked out our window yesterday only to see hundreds of birds on the lawn, in the tree, and on the roof. When I say hundreds, I am not exaggerating. I mean I have never in my life seen that many birds at once. I felt like the woman from home alone with all of the pigeons. Except for the fact that I wasn't standing in the middle of them nor was I going to feed them. Sorry about the picture, I was crouched down and too scared they were going to attack. You may say they are "just birds", but "just birds" could have killed me.

Freezing in February

This is how I feel when its freezing cold outside and I can't feel my face. Very confused/upset. This is me when I was just a little one. I keep putting this picture as the desktop on Sean's computer but he keeps changing it for some reason. The things I do...
