thursday nights

Somebody loves his new bowling class.
Of course I took on the challenge of playing him and to top it off, we bet on it.
Why do I do this to myself?
I haven't bowled for maybe a year.
Sean bowled every week for the past month in a half.
Yes, I lost.
143-93

But I think this whole bowling thing has gotten out of hand.
Rolling a watermelon down the isle at Costco ?
Okay he wasn't bowling, just making reference to a Seinfeld episode to see if the fruit was good.
We got a few strange looks.

Welp, Sean is in Iowa with the team and I'm off to the movies with Peter and Abby. See ya!

Labor Day

Its that time of year... football season.
The first game of the season was against Pittsburgh. We were on the edge of our seats most of the game..  they got the W so it was a happy day!

Patrick and Lori came up for the game too!

Two days later, my friend Whitney and I ran our first official half marathon.

It was oh so tiring but we had a blast training together and finally running it.

This sweet peach was there to cheer me on at the start and at the end.

Then we headed down to Provo to be with these peeps.

Thanks to Mike and Jake, a pinecone war was started.

Ambush on Mike D.

Ambush on my Pops

All the while, baby Max was feeling a little under the weather. Poor thing.

We celebrated my beautiful mother's b-day too. I didn't have my camera handy for the moment, but she turned 30 as she does every year :) Love you mom!

Then it was time for goodbye. Please excuse the picture. We sister's tend to get emotional whenever we leave each other (hence the black and white edit). Brooke is off to BYU-Idaho for her first year of college. I love it because she is now only 3 hours away from me instead of 10. Angie headed back down to Las Vegas, Brittany and Shannon headed back to California, and Abby and I stayed here in good old Utah.

Until next time...

So long Summer

Summer '10 was our first 3 months of newly wed delight.
Full of movies and cafe rio... it's all anyone really needs.
We have had a blast being with each other everyday and learning the marriage groove.

I have learned a few things about my sweet dear face:
- No matter where I hide, he never gets scared or even flinches when I pop out at him. Dark closet, behind a door, under the bead... doesn't matter.
- He is a very good cleaner. Best dishwashing skills I have ever seen.
- He secretly kinda just maybe likes the bachelor... just maybe.

Although the beginning of fall means that winter is just around the corner, I can't help but love the excitement of what lies ahead for us.
Goodbye Summer.
 Hello Fall!

Too tired to EAT??

I was so confused when the hungry man came home with an untouched turkey sandwich in hand.
All he said was, "I'm too tired to eat."
I guess sprinting all day will do that.
A little rest and food, and he is right back at it for round two.
He never ceases to amaze me.

Sprinting used to be easy for me.. when I was 13.
Near the end of my morning run today, the world cup theme song came on my i-pod.
As I listened, I felt like I really was in the World Cup and of course started to sprint.
If someone were watching, it probably looked like I was running 10 mph but honestly I had to have been running at least 50 mph. ha! okay probably not, but it felt like it.
I tried it one more time after and quickly realized maybe I should just stick with slow and steady.
very "slooowww and steeaaadddy"

Randomness

Here are the goings on...

Sean finished summer semester with dos A's. He is a smarty
I finish summer semester on wednesday. I won't be getting dos A's. More like dos B's.
I love to sporadically use my limited spanish vocabulary.
I for sure got it from my father. I like to think I am bilingual.
Sean has yet to agree.

People at work refer to me as the football widow. I guess you could say that. I am alone a lot now that Sean has started fall camp. I don't like to tell people that though, because i am paranoid that someone is gonna come and take me when he isn't here. Yes i am crazy but that really has become my fear these days. Football camp has become his life and will be his life for the next two weeks and then it slows down to once a day instead of all day. I don't know how he does it, but he does and does it hard. There are some perks to it all, i mean when is a chipotle burrito considered a snack?

Lets talk about it: averaged to be around 1,000 calories for one of these babies, or fetus as Sean calls it.

The newest addition to the Fitzgerald clan is this little man. He really is a little man to me. Such defined features at one day old. Can't wait to see him in person. Congrats Jeff and Ashley!

I love nieces and nephews and can't wait for the next one to come.
Britt (the eldest sis) is expecting a baby girl!
I love that Jake and Max are gonna have a little sis to protect and love.

Speaking of being an auntie. I will never get sick of this picture of Jake and Haley. Crazy kids.

We got our wedding pictures back and there are so many to choose from!
I love this one.
What a great group of people.
Better yet, what a great family we have.

The starter of it all.
